Caught a quick pic of my hyacinths before the deer discover and devour them. It's a yearly game to see if they'll bloom before they're eaten, and if so can I get a photo first. Daffodils are in bloom too.

2025 Score is Me : 1, Deer : 0.

I saw a new post today, and thought I would post the post on Bluesky. While I am not the original poster, and did not put the post in place, I did take a picture of the post to post here, and I am pretty positive I am the first. Please like and repost this post.

Some days you just have to stop and enjoy the fresh air and flowers. Dogs help keep us grounded and sane. Okay maybe it's just me, but they help.

A neat part of living in a small town with nature all around. They're just making their daily trek into the safety of the ravine below.

Good morning from @altyellonatpark.org

For all the gaming fans, how far back do you go?

If you're buying flowers for Valentine's Day, get them from an actual florist, not one of these guys. Real florists are small businesses and will take care with your gift. These guys are middlemen there to make a cheap buck.

I added a fun new piece of art to my collection, picked it up today. The artist, @judyhudson.bsky.social, is such a talented and fun gal with an obviously great sense of humor. And perhaps a bit warped like my own. Support your local artists.

Our dyed drumheads often times end up looking like a Rorschach test. We have a general idea of what the pattern will look like, but the details are always unique.

What do you see?

I have the best crochet assistant around. He helps hold yarn down so it doesn't run away, sniffs all new skeins to approve them, and adds fibers from his very being to most of my work.
Who am I kidding, dog hair is in every single thing I crochet!
It really is nice having him "help."

This thing. Sculpture? 3D mosaic? Hexagonism? It is 6 feet tall, made of wood, and is currently in the window at a local restaurant. @justarayofsunshine.bsky.social was very much involved in making this....creation.

We have new drums in the works, hoping to finish up some new ones this week. In the meantime, we are going to share some of our favorite pics of our drums and various other products, all made in our workshop.
