I'm sure it's not coincidence, but the plot of The Inner Light can be read as a meditation on loss and death. Picard's doubt on waking up in Ressik, ooking to rationalize the situation. Gradual acceptance. Ending with was lost not being forgotten due to its memory living on. #TNGSunNight
