She arrived at #Auschwitz on 16 September 1943 from Westerbork. She was among 578 (out of 1005) people murdered in gas chambers after the selection.

Both were designed by the same architect team, Pritzker Prize winning Philip Johnson and John Burgee. It's 64 ft high and about 11,000 gallons of water flow down the U-shaped structure every minute. For the visually impaired, this image captures a wide, eye-level view of a grand outdoor water feature cascading behind a majestic brick archway structure under a bright blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds. The foreground is dominated by a large, red-brick wall shaped like a gabled roofline, supported by thick, beige columns that form three large, symmetrical Roman arches. Through and above these arches, a massive, semicircular concrete wall acts as a giant waterfall, with water rushing down its textured surface into an unseen basin below, creating a dramatic backdrop.
