I've had people who can't afford to support monetarily be the reason paying clients find me just through word of mouth alone. My next customer might not see my post, but they might see your repost of my work or comms.
Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

This just broke something in my brain and may have also healed something.
There is a scene in Ishtar that had me and my family howling with laughter. It is in the middle of the desert where the main characters are almost dead and vultures are coming to peck at them. It was the only funny scene in the film.

In 3 weeks, I will be attending my first ever pre-season hockey game. The ticket was bought in a more optimistic time financially and I really need to work hard so that I can afford the gas to get there and back.

I have been diagnosed with a something that requires monitoring. It is a something that is not, at this stage, that is going to cause me to die and so I am now a part of a tracking system for this disease. It could eventually cause me to die, if nothing else kills me first.
