I want to be clear that this isn't a "transmasc vs transfem" thing.
I've seen this parroted by all variety of queer people, and it's nearly identical to common TERF rhetoric. The idea that T = violent is a deeply instilled cultural myth that is unproductive and harms trans people across the board.
