“The public has a right to know why Adani donated so much money to the LNP, This should be at the centre of media coverage of the company in Australia. It also has a right to know why the state government is refusing to explain why a major donor seems to be given such an outrageously good deal.”
Adani owes Queenslanders millions in royalties from the Carmichael coalmine. Premier David Crisafulli let them off the hook in Aug 2025 by abandoning the court case initiated in 2023. Adani donated thousands to the LNP prior to the Qld election. #qldpol thepoint.com.au/opinions/260...
What did Adani get for the money it gave to the Queensland Liberal National Party?
If only we knew then what we know now. In August 2025, Queensland’s LNP Government announced it was abandoning a court case against Adani over unpaid coal royalties, a case that started in 2023 under ...

This is enraging. So the ONLY thing available to counter inflation is to constantly ratchet up my mortgage repayments but they can’t do a thing about this shit in 11 years? I pay company tax, personal tax, council rates, exorbitant interest, every kind of fkn govt payment but look at these pricks.
The latest corporate tax data just dropped. And congrats to Santos Ltd - 11yrs in a row of no company tax.

Come the fuck on alright!
What do you think piping the most expensive fossil fuel - extracted by the most expensive means - then sending it through an enormous, absurdly expensive pipeline is going to do to your energy bill?

The folks spruiking this shit pretend to be serious, but come the fuck on.

Bloody rent-seekers. 🙄
Plans to build a 1,561 km gas pipeline from the NT Beetaloo Basin to south-east Queensland could cost as much as $9.74 billion, a new report has found, adding huge costs to a heavily polluting project
