Successfully made it to Chester from @cherylmorgan.bsky.social ‘s home in Wales. Staying on points and my platinum status got us upgraded to a larger “executive” room. Time to have dinner and maybe get to bed early.

Because we’ll be leaving my host’s home for Glasgow and FantasyCon today, I have a relatively short night tonight. So waking up at 0345 with massive cramps in both legs was not something I wanted. Ow.

According to a new shadow docket filing with SCOTUS, the Alliance Defending Freedom is arguing that parents of cis kids have a "parental right" to forcibly out trans kids and prevent them from playing.

After having burritos at Paddington, Cheryl and I boarded the 16:45 to Swansea. We were lucky get seats. The train was short-formed if only 5 coaches, so the aisles are packed with standees.

And yet the women demanding trans people be excluded from public life seem to insist that they are the only “real” women and that any women who disagree with them should be “re-educated,” probably by force.
I’ve emailed Andy Burnham and Bridget Phillipson with a name change suggestion for next year's conference.

I happened to notice from the in-flight map that Ben Nevis is only about 400 ft / 120 m higher than my home in Fernley, Nevada. And Fernley is on the floor of an ancient playa surrounded by mountains.
