Ireland is a tiny nation but I remember how a boycott of south African Goods by workers in Dublin snowballed into a huge anti apartheid movement in 1980s.

The govt clearly doesn't welcome or value us, so maybe we should stay home for a day, and see how the country gets on without us.
Not sure it'd really be practical tho, given potential loss of earnings, and jobs.

The male GAA codes are built on the unseen work of women sacrificing their own free time to do the work of looking after children & elderly relatives that men who spend 3 nights training,2 nights at the gym, plus weekends at matches are consciously not doing.

I literally wrote a book about how people got ARRESTED for trying to speak Irish to police in Ireland, don’t given me this feigned respect and reverence for Irish.
Did you know that we deny Deaf people in Ireland the opportunity to learn Irish in school? Because it’s deemed that they wouldn’t be able. Without any assessment. Without any comprehension that many Deaf people are learning ISL and English at the same time? And are therefore bilingual?
