It's very important that Dems win the Senate and 18 months ago that looked very bleak with a bad map this year and not the best map in 2028.

But the upside of (what LOOKS LIKE, knock on wood) a ridiculous wave year is you get Senate seats in red states you should have no business winning.

False flag by leftists to increase Mandani’s popularity
Pro-Palestinian protesters gather outside City Hall to call out Mayor Zohran Mamdani for what they see as his betrayal of the movement.

"Mayor Mamdani, you can't hide we charge you with genocide" was a chant that just rang out.

No artificial sweetener for me, thanks. I'll have the super sweetener.
BAIER: The president says 'SI.' Are you into SI or AI?

BEZOS: I do like SI, because 'artificial' is not a very flattering thing. Like, nobody wants an artificial sweetener, artificial flavoring.

Democratic leaders are vulnerable to the same voter frustration as Donald Trump, Reihan Salam tells @davidfrum.bsky.social. “I actually don't believe that it is Donald Trump who is the only political figure who will have been discredited by this moment,” he says.

user fees are good and enforcing them is also good
The gates have saloon-style doors, and use sensors and cameras to detect whether someone has paid. They also are designed to close after a person walks through without injuring them.

Trump is incoherent as usual, but if you pay attention, he’s not saying losing LA or San Diego would be the “small price to pay”. He’s contrasting their potential loss with the higher cost of fuel.
Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."
