Good news, the Yankees still have a couple innings to catch — well, that’s probably not the right word under the circumstances — the 1966 Dodgers (World Series Game 1) and 1906 White Sox (WS Game 6) for the postseason record of 6 errors in a game
For those keeping track, this was initially ruled as a single. It has now been changed to an error, giving the Yankees five for the day.
Cam Schlittler's day is done. That only three runs came across the plate while he was on the mound despite the way the Yankees' defense played behind him is a minor miracle.
