Just because someone who is literally selling something makes extraordinary unfounded claims about it doesn't make it true

You know this about vacuum cleaners; it's embarrassing that you can't hold it in your heads about computers

Vlaamse overheid gaat bloedbad plegen in culturele sector maar bovenal erfgoedsector. Ééntje uitgelicht: provinciale archeologische musea verliezen _alle_ subsidies.

The French Navy, in so much as it's possible, sails on a sea of wine.

Finding the wine cellar on plans of French warships is one of my favourite games, tbh. There's usually at least one.

It’s a mark of the corruption of our whole way of thinking about the world that trying to meet a planetary emergency is routinely described as “ideological”, while continuing to accelerate it is presented as “pragmatic” and “economic”.

people ask me how I can ride a bicycle in the rain, and I always hesitate to divulge the disturbing secret—to reveal the lengths to which we, the esoteric cult of cyclists, will go in our perversity, in our all-consuming, world-be-damned obsession:

1700 cyclists yesterday. ✨

Thank you for showing with us the ridiculous space cars take in our everyday life.
And how many people could fit instead. 🤷‍♂️

See you next month with the same ambition as usual: riding to improve our beloved city. 💗

@groen.be wil dit prioritair aanpakken.

Vlaanderen telt 2.622 km moordstrookjes langs gewestwegen. Dat is 26% van het volledige net.
