Wife hasn't been able to land anything & she's applied to basically everything in a 40 mile radius. I've had a terrible time finding alternative employment, & I've been solo carrying our financials for most of the last 3-4 years. We *just* get by but we can't make headway. Trans folks need help.
One thing people don't think about is that trans folks relocating to safer states are, without fail, relocating to FAR MORE EXPENSIVE states.
My rent here in New Jersey for a 1BR is *$1300* more than it cost to rent a 2 bedroom house in Oklahoma City.
And guess what group has trouble finding work?
