NEWS: New York City just recorded the safest summer in its history.
From June through August, NYC saw its fewest shootings, shooting victims, and murders on record. Major crime fell 6.2% year-to-date, murders plunged 24.1%, and the subway had zero murders, shootings, or rapes in August.

Let me just say that, by and large, good, normal people do not run for office. That is why we have the problems we do. If you are good and normal, at some point you're going to have to suck it up and run for something. Otherwise we get all of this again.
