The big sectional reclining sofa that was ugly as h*ll but so comfortable to watch TV on is leaving with its new owners today. There was enough dog fur under it to make a new dog.

Welp, everything but the kitchen is packed downstairs, and I’m starting to make a dent in the upstairs. I’m hoping my grandmother won’t haunt my dreams tonight because I donated a silver plated chafing dish to the church’s yard sale. I have not used it since I received it as a wedding gift in 1987.

Seems to me a whole lot of little boys who grow up fantasizing about being heroes blow their best chances out of fear their tribe might make fun of them.

Bane of my existence- ambiguity. I ask “we don’t have (thing), right?” The answer that comes back is “no.” Does that mean I’m not right and we do have it, or does that mean “correct, we don’t have it.” And is it weird that I’m confused?

Daughter has brought us a bunch of moving boxes from the lab where she works. We need to inform the moving guys to ignore all the toxic and flammable stickers! 😄
