If you find our paper useful in your teaching of students in Psych, AI, or otherwise, @olivia.science and I would love to know.

When your colleague's proposal gets killed by an algorithm that has no capacity to understand science and amplifies biases by default, what will you do?
That's where we're at 🧪
Well, there it is. The EU is also going to use slop algorithms to put an artificial number on proposals. This is how we lose. This is a disaster 🧪
They must demarcate the responsible uses of AI in evaluation, with research funding and research performing organisations jointly leading actions in the interest of the research sector and research communities.

Anything about AI coming from the USA or UK is terrible, but in the EU we also suck!
Research evaluation faces growing pressure: demand for competitive research funding is rising, while AI is rapidly changing how proposals can be written and assessed.

In this context, the ERC & Science Europe had a workshop with research funding and performing organisations from 5 continents.

Bold move for Republicans to remind everyone just before the election. But I'm sure Trump will have a very calm and rational, "reasonable people can disagree" reaction.
Jack Smith: "Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in serious crimes against our nation ... rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 election, he engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results and prevent the lawful transfer of power"

this gaffe should follow Eric Schmitt around for the rest of his political life
