Oh, you. No. He was blocking the release of the DOJ letter the FA needed to sue the Feds.

Perhaps we’ll never know; the chancellor sent his chief of staff to tell the organizers who asked for an explanation that he won’t be engaging with them or speaking on the matter further.

Is that what constitute leadership and courage of convictions in 2026? For shame.

He did invoke the hurt feelings of an emeritus professor who is both not a Law Professor nor an attendee at the event. It’s unclear what caused these hurt feelings, or why they rose to the occasion of this series of statements.

Certainly he’s not explained what constitutes antisemitism and terrorism at the event, which was focused on the very apt conversation of the change in the legal landscape in the US since 9/11. Seems kind of relevant, perhaps now more than ever, wouldn’t you say?
