I’m tracking my media journey this year because my biggest goal is to declutter and that includes my TBR & my games backlog; pinning my threads below✨

Reading goal: 30 books
- get through physical tbr
- try new genres

Steam backlog: 25 untouched games

stars don’t stop being beautiful even when they’re falling apart
This image of the Ring Nebula appears as a distorted doughnut. The nebula’s inner cavity hosts shades of blue and green, while the detailed ring transitions through shades of orange in the inner regions and pink in the outer region. The ring’s inner region has distinct filament elements. A vivid Hubble image of the Cat’s Eye Nebula, showing a bright blue-green central region surrounded by intricate concentric shells, loops, and wisps of glowing gas in turquoise, pink, and orange. The layered structure gives the nebula a complex, almost eye-like appearance. Webb’s view of the Southern Ring Nebula appears as a misshapen oval that is slightly angled from the top left to the bottom right. The image shows one star at the center. A large translucent pink-and-red irregular oval surrounds the central stars. A Hubble image of the Butterfly Nebula, with two enormous wing-shaped lobes of glowing gas extending outward from a bright central star. The lobes are filled with fiery orange, red, pink, and blue clouds, while a dark band of dust cuts through the center.

I’m reading the first book of the Temeraire series (I read it in high school a million years ago) and my library apparently has the entire series so I’m set for the rest of the year now

It is always intriguing to hear about other people's experience when playing a game.

Some might drop it because they did not connect with the characters or plot, for others it will be their most memorable adventure to date.

This is why I fundamentally believe in trying things for yourself.

The Great Wall of Ara - NGC 6188 (Narrowband Colour) - From Rolf Wahl Olsen - https://flic.kr/p/Vv4rYE
www.rolfolsenastrophotography.com NGC 6188 is a large emission nebula located some 4000 light years distant in the southern constellation Ara. This giant molecular cloud is being illuminated by the young star cluster NGC 6193 which in this image appears in the upper centre, almost as if suspended above a cloud of dense nebulosity which forms a great wall across the field of view. The cluster belongs to the Ara OB1 association and is very young, not older than 3 million years, and contains some 30 stars. At the centre of the cluster lies an intensely bright pair of stars; the O-type giants HD 150135 and HD 150136. The latter is in fact itself an extremely close binary with a confirmed third component in an outer eccentric orbit of between 2950 and 5500 days. This triple star system is one of the most massive in our galaxy with the three components containing 64, 40 and 35 solar masses respectively. The intense radiation from the massive stars is slowly eroding the surrounding gas and dust away, sculpting it into the striking forms seen in this image. Within these clouds new stars are currently being born and in some places have already begun to light up the nebulous clouds from within. The intricately shaped dust and gas provide for a stunning interplay of light and shadow throughout the area and the entire scene is littered with thousands of dimmer stars in a multitude of colours. Especially in the lower part of the image several long shadows can be seen cast by the glo...
