Hugely important story from Queensland where Indigenous people are being dropped from any positions of influence. This is just the start.

Qld minister tight-lipped about 'Project Invisibility' Indigenous sackings
Under the direction of Arts Minister John-Paul Langbroek, eight Indigenous directors have disappeared from the boards of south-east Queensland's cultural institutions.

Just a reminder why taxing capital gains is a good idea: as asset prices explode across rich economies, the CGT is the closest thing Australia has to a proper wealth tax. Why should people making money off shares or investments pay a low rate of tax than a nurse or a plumber?
Opinion | The capital gains scare campaign has been heavy on rhetoric but light on facts, obscuring the reality that most Australians pay no CGT, @beneltham.bsky.social writes. www.crikey.com.au/2026/05/26/c...

What's remarkable is not that Ed Husic said the Albanese govt needs a clear red line on Israel.
But that no-one else in Labor's caucus will do so.

Caucus "discipline" is creating a big problem for a Labor PM who - just like his antisemitism envoy - squashes dissenting voices. #GazaGenocide #auspol

When somalis pirates were intercepting and attacking ships in international waters, all the real democracies sent war ships there to fight and kill the "horrible brown criminals".
Why are we allowing the israeli thugs to do the same piracy without any consequences !

Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽‍♂️

A curious case. Almost 100 cows & 40 calves died at an AACo property in Queensland around the 2025 Australia Day weekend. It's only through RTI we learn the Crisafulli government spared the company of investigation under the Animal Care and Protection Act. #qldpol www.abc.net.au/news/2026-04...

The lack of investigation into deaths at the $700 million beef business has been described as "completely unacceptable" by a legal expert who argued industry had captured government regulators.

It’s not just an illegal war. That would be bad enough.

Today, the Albanese government clearly admitted they gave our support to a war, without even knowing why it was launched.

the Albanese government didn’t even know the reason for the war, let alone whether it was unlawful – but they supported it anyway.
