It’s grim seeing screenshots like this.

Racist rhetoric from anyone is unacceptable, let alone an elected councillor.

Kenton, you need to turn up and vote him out in May.

Only 31% of people who voted actually wanted him as their councillor. Thats just 13% of the total electorate.
Reform UK Councillor Mick Mahoney, representing Kenton on Newcastle Council.

Who are ‘they’, Mick?

What’s more, we also have Councillor Michael Vincent Fitzpatrick, also of Newcastle City Council liking it.

SPACE for Fenham and Arthur's Hill are running a Glow ride again this year.
They'll be meeting up outside the Civic Centre (by the God of the Tyne) on Thursday 22nd October for a ride through the Toon.
It's free and all are welcome- as long as you've got a bike.

Councillors from across the political divide have backed the new Council Plan of Newcastle City Council's Liberal Democrat-led administration.

However, despite extensive cross-party engagement, Reform and Independents chose not to back our ambition for the city, without offering a reason why.

We are delighted that the council has taken swift action to respond to concerns we raised on behalf of Dene Close residents about the fence with the “paddock” on the edge of Jesmond Dene. Rotten fence posts are being replaced and the thistles are being strimmed! #focusteamaction

🚨 We are aware of resurfacing work this weekend on the Coast Road slip road. We are underwhelmed by lack of prior notice to councillors and residents on this stretch and potential knock-on effects of diversion traffic and buses. We are making urgent enquiries with the highway engineers team.

Today marks 100 days since Colin Ferguson was elected Leader of #Newcastle City Council.

Newcastle Liberal Democrats promised you would see a difference in your communities through your front window and we've got started doing exactly that.

100 days in, plenty done, plenty more to do.
