it's time for the annual rhinoceros study. some 15min on Paint Tool SAI. this time I focused more on the head.

a square composition containing: a dark grey background; on the upper rirght, a looming triangle with one single semicircle close to irs top; on the lower 2/3s of the composition, 28 white circular shapes – some of them have pointy bits sticking from their underside, one in particular, just in front of the triangle, bear a bright red pointy bit.

Writers: what’s a solid piece of *craft* advice you wish you’d known sooner?

Mine is this: when making writing decisions, always stop and ask yourself what is best for the SCENE. What are the scene’s goals? Does this sentence, this paragraph, this line of dialogue serve those goals? If not, fix it.
