He beat me to it, but I was going to share how I'm using Notion's new dashboard view inside tabbed page layouts :D
Whenever I see @mariepoulin.com's @notion.com dashboards, it's like, "Are we using the same product?". Always finds ways to make the product look like no one else in the industry can.

Playing with Notion's new tab feature. Been waiting 3+ years for them to finally release this from beta!

Every week (for the last 253 weeks!!) we order takeout from the local Indian restaurant, and lately I've been writing little notes of gratitude in the order notes. They've been writing back and it's simply joy 🥰
I try to think of something new each week to keep it interesting...

We're in the Bad Place
I think being exposed to the internet is basically going to guarantee psychosis within the year. When should we get out? Serious question: what are you doing to develop machine-free psychic defences we'll need in this infohazardous wasteland?

"To deny me is tiresome."

Been lmfao at Nina Conti's ventriloquism in her "therapy sessions". Such artistry.

Finally got around to publishing my annual Year in Review post. Been doing this for 13+ years, and it's always intense, vulnerable, and cathartic. okidoki.notion.site/2025-Year-in...
2025 Year in Review | Notion
This year was the year I designed and renovated my kitchen, recovered from injury, shifted gears around my work, and grieved the loss of both family and friends.

Today I received my very first payment for chef services rendered! Two retreats, four dinners per retreat plus a dessert on the closing night. It was so much fun, and not something I had planned, but was so unbelievably rewarding and fun!

Truthfully, I have already used Ben's guide to set up my consulting clients properly on Notion. This is a wildly comprehensive guide for anyone working with teams!

Time to celebrate shipping!!!
Alpha launch! First modules of Architecting Workspaces are with alpha testers. This is my guidebook (and toolkit) for building fault-tolerant and scalable Notion workspaces for teams. My consultant's manual. More in the coming months. For now, giving myself time to celebration! 🎉

Had a blast in this one-day Indian cooking class at the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver; @typeoneerror.com got it for us as a birthday gift!

Their setup and processes are so dialled in, and the instructors are wonderful. Maybe i'll have to take some of their bread/pastry classes next 🤤
