Americans serving cope in response to Max's use of "mandate" here. Like, yes, Trump did not win 50%+1 of the vote.

YOU STILL RE-ELECTED HIM AFTER A COUP, WORDPLAY CHANGES NOTHING
This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate.

The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.

Started watching “Mr InBetween” (Disney+) and marvelled at the collection of dumbass clowns who fell into his orbit… and then S2E3 showed up and oh my god Ray, scarlet for you mate

Great show. The sort-of prequel (The Magician) is pretty decent too considering the budget it was likely made with

I'm reading JW Rinzler's Making of Star Wars, which is astonishing. The thing I love the most about it is that it's not a book about making a Star Wars movie. It's a book about making movies in the 1970s. It's fascinating.

In 1975 they had no idea what a Star wars movie was, or how to make one!

My latest at the Globe. If Canada wants to retaliate against the US, we should not just increase tariffs on U.S. products, but we should also lower them on non-US imports, to diversify trade and enhance affordability for Canadians.

Read here:
Canada should lower pointless tariffs on goods from countries other than the U.S.
Many long-established tariffs raise prices for consumers and serve no useful purpose
