None of these people have experienced or even seen the post of people that have become completely isolated because of Covid and post 2020 normalized disregard for disabled people. It’s been heartbreaking just reading people’s posts about their loved ones abandoning them, how doctors treat them etc
People are getting waaay too comfortable with blatant ableism with that bar story on top of extra vocal covid denial

None of these people have experienced or even seen the post of people that have become completely isolated because of Covid and post 2020 normalized disregard for disabled people. It’s been heartbreaking just reading people’s posts about their loved ones abandoning them, how doctors treat them etc

While we’re eulogizing Tim Curry, PLEASE take care not to devalue the life he lived after his stroke and complications. Yes, it was devastating, but he had reached a peace with it, worked hard in rehabilitation to reclaim things he loved.

white americans should interrogate why this is the stuff that happens when we aren't around. this is not a nuanced or accidental thing, you don't need the life experience of being Black in america to know this is bad, so why did every white person involved think this was fine?
Maybe if Target hadn’t ended its DEI programs there would’ve been some Black people around to say this is racist as hell
