All this political heat is getting to me. It just makes me jaded, cynical and depressed. I still hold my ideals at heart, those that align with Christ, post-Marxism, openmindedness, and pragmatism, but ive all but checked out of political circles, at the worst time it seems too. :/

Just found out that in my state, they passed a bill allowing for private citizens to not recognize gay marriages. I'm not mad anymore, I'm just tired and I want to leave... too bad I'm too broke to leave.

Just found out that in my state, they passed a bill allowing for private citizens to not recognize gay marriages. I'm not mad anymore, I'm just tired and I want to leave... too bad I'm too broke to leave.

After a grueling 3 days of typing away at my laptop, I installed base #gentoolinux but I gave up installing the DE. I went back to #ArchLinux, but i used openrc. So it wasn't a total loss.

Yesterday, was a milestone a decade in the making. I started HRT and am living as a transgirl proper. I came out to my family and some were resistant, but I'm sure they'll come around. <3 I'm doing this not bc I hate myself and want to run away, but to love myself, bc this is me behind closed doors

Been getting acquainted with cyber security and the like. Taking courses, learning things. What I learned lit a fire in me that I cannot quench so easily. I want to help my community, and I will but I have to learn first.
