The new CS2 mode ("Rush" or is it "Rush Hour"? Conflicting reports!) looks like an interesting twist to the CS formula. Now if only Valve could do something about match making with custom maps. 🤔 #counterstrike #cs2

Ok, revisting this: I've listened to one opinion podcast during work and determined that, no, I think the 256gb version is more worth it. It doesn't sound like you'll be running a lot of software locally on this thing that can't be covered by an SD card, really.

Oh shit, Steam Frame jump scare. I'm surprised it's been open for as long as it as, but I just signed up now. I'm definitely late but whatev lol.

Leave it to Republicans to innovate in ways force companies to sell product at a lower price by leveraging federal institutions. So much for small government, right?

One feature I'd love of @bsky.brid.gy is if we could have it so that a bluesky account would automatically boost a mastodon account on the bridged network.

I have a wafrn account that I want to use for large-form blog posts only and would love to automatically boost posts from this mastodon […]

I think GITS 2026 is a pretty awesome rendition so far that is pretty faithful to the manga. At least that's my first impressions.

It's pretty radically different from Oshii's take; I was prepared for it but I guess I can see someone not vibing with Shirow Masamune's cartoony style […]

I wonder what the state of Bluray production will be like be like in 2027?
Recent news makes me think it can't be in a good state. A huge production facility just closed last year so how much longer will bluray movies be a thing I wonder? 🤔

Everything just keeps getting worse...

I'm not sure gaming as we know it can survive if the hardware isn't available at an entry level price (ideally sub 500 dollars.) I think the console market doom is just the canary in the coal mine. #gaming #inflation

I feel exhausted this week, but I'm definitely down to do more steam controller messing.

Now if only there were some kind of device I could strap to my face. 🤔 At least a price would be good enough.

Awesome work for the digital art community, as I've come to expect from David. Please make sure to check out this guide if you're an artist transitioning into a linux-focused workflow and have an interest in KDE Neon.

In Yesterday's IO Keynote Google declared war on the remnants of the Web.

While they packaged it as a lot of "AI" talk what their whole approach of decontextualizing information, of taking away links to sources and instead producing some LLM generated response means is that they want to […]

Steam input is still one of the best ways to play a game with a novel input scheme. It's wild how long it's been this way, at least since the Wii U era Consoles manufacturers have forgotten how important it is to push for new ways of interacting with computer software. #consoles #gaming

To witness these former MAGA people grovelling to the madman in office or finally calling out Trump's irrational behavior *now* after having spent the last 8 years casting any sane dissenter as sufferers of "Trump Derrangement Syndrome." Bleh 🤢. #politics #uspol

Github with the power play of telling people that they have the right to read our private code unless disable their new buried AI setting really tells you just how worried they are about protecting your private data. #programming

Finished Gundam The Origin 👍

Honestly, the last 10 years or so of Gundam have been pretty great in terms of return to form. The Origin really does capture that feeling that the original show had and the direction was phenomenal. #anime #gundam

Gundam The Origin is pretty cool.

But when you get to that scene where there's suddenly some other dude whose name is Char Aznable... 🤨 I thought it was a metaphor at first.

I had heard how much better the search results were from Kagi.

And yet, I'm still surprised. Trying to Google useful comic development articles was a pain with the amount of AI slop articles, but found some really good resources almost immediately with Kagi that reminded me of the early days.
