Look how utterly joyless this miserable crowd of fascist bigots is in that second photo.

They're losers and their movement will die. You cannot live on hate alone.

Yes I will continue to yell from the rooftops that birds are dinosaurs.

Because they are.

Because they evolved INSIDE of Dinosauria, they evolved from theropods.

Birds HAVE to be dinosaurs because they can’t be anything else.

You can be combative and weird about it, but it doesn’t change it.

YouTube has removed one of my videos because I reported that women can still access abortion pills. I shared *factual & medically accurate* information about women's health—yet the platform says I'm "facilitating the sale of illegal drugs"

In case people didn’t know:

This is the leading scholar behind the very first big legal challenge to Obamacare, and is now among the leading theorists supporting Donald Trump’s assault on birthright citizenship as spelled out in the 14th Amendment.

There’s probably a throughline there.

Delta Air Lines, who likely flew nearly all of these kiddos out of MSP, could publicly condemn this and end the practice tomorrow, as the airlines did in 2018 with family separation, but it’s easier to stay silent.

Under some of the hardest conditions in the country, Southern workers are still organizing and still making gains. Union membership ticked up this past year because working people are not backing down.
This makes one thing very clear: workers are not giving up, workers are gearing up.

Re: Platner using the r-slur

It’s an *incredibly* disgusting dynamic where a public figure cultivates a crass persona, and their supporters either

1) Argue it’s nbd, or

2) Pretend they’ve made amends when they’ve done no such thing
He doesn’t think it’s a poor word choice at all, is the thing.

I want to scream, but I just can't anymore.

This is SO common. "Tough on crime" types always get the credit, even if we need time to flow backwards and sideways to give them the credit.

Always. Over and over.

And smart policies never get credit, and any success is framed as strange and tentative.

Shame on anyone who told women they were silly to worry that, post-Dobbs, birth control would be next.
Casey Means’ Surgeon General confirmation hearing is tomorrow.

Means holds a number of extremely disturbing views, including that hormonal birth control is “disrespect for life”.

She isn’t a “fringe” or “alternative” healthcare provider. She is a person who blithely ignores scientific facts.
A new generation of birth control skeptics leans right
