I'm wondering if anyone would have liked a set of ADLER #1-#5 if I dug them out from the box they're in at some point?

@lavietidhar.bsky.social would you like to join our next _A Night in the Lonesome October_ October story discussion? It may not be until 2028, when our moon schedule once again lines up pretty well with that of the story.

Can you help me understand the exposure value in the EXIF looking like it's saying 2s and the Shutter saying .25s?

@hankgreen.bsky.social Do you know about the connection between the 1993 film Groundhog Day and a potential Russian Spy posing as a Library of Congress librarian and his wife that runs through Missoula, MT and UM? Check out Phillip O. Keeney's story.

As someone who spent years reporting on Zuckerberg, I've struggled to find something coherent to say about today. Then @cwarzel.bsky.social reminded me of my old reporting.
This is what a FB employee said to me in 2020 after Zuckerberg addressed workers following FB-enabled violence in Kenosha, WI.

Just discovered a hole in the inside pocket of my work bag. Inside the lining of my bag have just found 5 lip balms, 3 really good pens, 2 sets of house keys, an AirPod case and every hair band everyone has ever mislaid. Like a very mundane, non-bird-based 12 days of Christmas

To me, the craziest thing is that while the U.S. is out here building all these houses, Canada has built only TWO in the last 75 years!

I want a list and I will visit each one twice.
We may have to open a combined foodie-coffee-cocktail-cats-book cafe instead.

Happy Thanksgiving! (Up early because I forgot to turn off my alarm.)
I am most thankful this year for friends. I've needed their support and presence this year much more than most.
And for anyone and everyone here, as it's wonderful to have someplace to chat without trepidation.
