Not my favourite #SNLUK ep (that’s still the Riz Ahmed one) but still two great sketches (Theroux and The Mining Incident).
I’ve really enjoyed SNL UK. It’s been consistently funny, every episode has had at least one genuinely great moment, and the cast are true stars. Can’t wait for series 2.

You can tell #SNLUK has definitely arrived by the cameos. Not just the sheer number of them but the fact every one is thrilled to be there, even for a walk on-walk off part.

That was such a great series from such a great team. And it seemed to be aimed specifically at me and my humour and age group.
Blobby? Ringo Starr? Fruit Polos? Louie Theroux? Jools Holland? Martin Lewis? Thomas The Tank? British Pork? Doctor Who? It’s like I was in the writers room #SNLUK

Also hosts- in order, Hannah Waddingham, absolutely bossed it followed closely by Aimee-Lou Wood, Nicola Coughlan, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Dornan &Riz Ahmed - can't separate them, then Tina Fey with Jack Whitehall way,way down the bottom. Let's hope to hell they don't invite Corden on next series. #SNLUK

#SNLUK was an absolute triumph, I knew Emma Sidi, Ania Magliano & Celeste Dring from their previous work, but George Fouracres is superb, & Jack Sheps Princess Di-iconic. The whole cast really made this show & the British Pork sketch written by Fouracres, Al Nash and Hammed Animashaun is a classic.

Not that it matters what I think, but I’ve gone from enjoying #SNLUK on catchup to gleefully staying up for it (what? I’m old and 10pm is late to start something!). I love their confidence and willingness to be daft and the British specificity of it. Can’t wait for S2.

What a glorious finale to #SNLUK that was. Liz Truss in the cupboard at No 10, the real reason for closing the mines, Louis Theroux, @martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com and the wonderful Ncuti Gatwa. Great dancing from Jack Shep too! Congratulations everyone; so glad it'll be back for another series.

There's not a single one of them who hasn't been brilliant, though. Obviously Fouracres has been incredible but they're all generally great in their own different ways and work so well as an ensemble. #SNLUK

Series finale of #SNLUK. Even though I’ve been an SNL USA watcher for years, I was very skeptical about how it would translate, but it’s been such a joy- I’m gonna miss the wonderful cast and their brilliant and bonkers sketches. So happy they’re coming back in September!

I love #SNLUK man. Even when the sketches don’t land as intended I’m still having fun with it. The cast have amazing range, they always pick great hosts, they’re daft as all hell and never afraid to get zany and weird with sketch concepts; it’s a party in my house!

I'm really pleased Larry Dean's Daniel Day Lewis sketch made it to screen this week, I know it's come close but been cut a few times now and it deffo deserved to get seen #snluk
