If the money Trump claims to pay is tied to an election result, it isn’t a “cash payment” or “dividend” or “rebate” or “stimulus.” It is a bribe. Plain and simple. Calling it anything else accepts a false premise and helps Trump and Republicans cover up how corrupt it truly is.

California’s Prop 3, explained. In 2012 voters raised income tax rates on the state’s highest earners. In 2016 they extended those rates. They now expire in 2031 unless voters act again. Prop 3 removes the expiration date.
