My dad and I were discussing yesterday how weird the phenomenon is that people here (idk if it's unique to America because I only live here) just simply don't understand that people everywhere are all just fundamentally trying to live their lives, let alone that they are smart and capable.

The toddler's new favorite bath game is soaking my toes in a warm washcloth and rubbing them and it's absolutely amazing but she also completely refuses on pain of meltdown to do my left foot.

I flew with both portable and regular breast pumps. In CKE the TSA agent looked at me like I was an idiot for asking about taking them out & told me to keep them in my bag. In MCO the agent looked at me like I was an idiot & made me take them out.

shout out to TSA. i was flying home the *day* they prohibited water on planes. Our bags were physically searched in 3 separate checkpoints before the gate. at home i realized i had two knives in my work bag i forgot about. not one of the TSA people were lookin for knives, they were looking for water
