Commercial Landlord, Marathon Runner, Dog Owner, Lazy Bugger. Less miserable Arsenal fan.
Man City might just have had an off ramp. Once the guilty verdict came out, Mansour should've claimed ignorance, sacked everyone involved, & apologised.
Would still get punished badly, but you take the hit and move on.

Now, with the doubling down & the threats, EVERYONE will hate them for ages.

If I were the organisation that is the Premier League or the organisation that is SKY, I'd be wanting the owners of Man City to sell the club at this point.

Both these organisations are selling a product and that product is now tainted. Its become less than it was, and therefore less valuable 1/n

Given the severity of the PL decision, you have to believe that Man City were advised by their lawyers some time ago that this was coming.

Could explain the ages of the current squad.

Putting the potential punishments to one side for a second, Man City have got lots to worry about.

Every single game will have an insane atmosphere.
SKY sports wont want to show any more of their games than they have to.
Their fan base is relatively small, and it's going to get smaller.

Etc.etc.

People are arguing whether Breaking Bad is better than The Wire, when, on the same list Lost is ahead of Chernobyl, Deadwood, Stranger Things, and Watchmen
September 25, 2026 at 4:30 PM
"Have you heard the news? Man City have been found guilty of 114 charges!"

"Wow, finally, we've waited years for that, what's the punishment?"

"They haven't decided yet"

"Right, but surely that cant take long"

"Well, ManC have the right to appeal, so..."

"Really, appeal?"

"Yep"

If only there was something the President of the world's biggest superpower could do, in return for Ukraine stopping its attacks on certain Russian infrastructure...
“.. The US president’s main message was about ‘diesel, diesel . . . diesel’ and urging Zelenskyy to order his military to cease their drone and missile attacks, a senior Ukrainian official who was on the call told the FT.”

Virtually any piece of farm machinery.

One of two things will happen in the 2nd half.

Either:

Gyokeres will come on and be a bit rubbish and ineffective and the chance of us getting anything out of him in the future will drop.

Gyokeres won't come on and the chance of us getting anything out of him in the future will drop.

That's a bit Spursy

A little from column A and a little from column B.

Probably wondering what happened to the 'no living beyond 40(*), that's for old people, suicide pact'

(*) currently adjusted to 80, with potential for future adjustments.
Would 20 y/o you be impressed or disappointed by you today?

I worry about Gyokeres. That was a poor Ipswich side and he looked disinterested and uninvolved.

Maybe there was some truth in him being a makeweight for Alvarez and he's sulking a little.

So torn about the Manchester Derby. A win for utd is better for us, but seeing 10 man City beating ManU after the Fernandes debacle and him being sad is funny.

The only time Ben White and Jurrien Timber meet is when one is leaving the physio dept. and holds open the door for the other one.

Not the greatest fan of Gary Neville, but him calling Emi Martinez a "personality goalkeeper" is v. funny.

Only around 20% of ginger cats are female.
Tell me a fun fact.

Everyone's assuming that Redwood's on the side of the Saxons here, but its 1000 yrs ago, he's definitely got Norman blood in him, so maybe he's *celebrating* the victory

Havertz needs to check his contact lenses, 4 or 5 offside now.

That's brilliant by Calafiori. I was halfway through "unlucky", because I couldn't see him reaching that.
August 31, 2026 at 8:18 PM
Just watching the 2nd half of Liverpool vs Forest, and already there's been enough counter attacks from Forest that I'm feeling sympathy for Van Dijk for the rest of the season.

35 is too old to be sprinting back all the time.

One thing I've just realised about Arsenal potentially signing Alvarez from Atletico Madrid, is that it was Berta who negotiated the deal to take him there from Man City 2 years ago.

He must have some good insights into the player's mentality etc.

Martinelli never quite reached the levels it looked like he would, when he first came through, but that wasnt for want of trying.

Can never dislike a player who works their absolute socks off.

I really hope it works out for him and he gets a chance to say goodbye to the fans one day.

Quick note for Villa Fans. Its a nice day and the weather in Brighton is good.

Why not pop down to the seaside and grab an ice cream.

What I find interesting about this, isn't how fast they run, but how much faster than last year.
