My first little game, made for the #20SecondGameJam !

Making a browser game in 3D with UE4 was quite the pickle but I'm glad I've finally released something.

Thank you to everyone who played it and for the nice feedback ! On to new ideas now :)

Really having fun learning with Unreal Engine modeling tools ! I was initially just trying out spiral-shaped stairs and got a little carried away...

The amount of times I sit in a call with a dreamer and their dream game is basically "everything from my favorite six games smashed together into perfect harmony and there was endless flawless content and it has graphics everyone likes" and I have to explain that making feet go on stairs is hard

i think what a lot of people never seem to realize is that a lot of people's vision of an "epic dream game" isn't actually very deep and comes down to scale and/or having a lot of features, whereas by embracing limitations you can be pushed in a far more radical direction.

rpgmaker definitely isn't the right tool for everyone, but I think using opinionated pre-baked tools to make some games would be very instructive to a lot of folks setting out to make their epic custom dream game. they're a much lower-stakes way to learn important lessons like "how to tell a story"

By this point, the player has spent hours treating these girls exactly as the game framework demanded — as routes to be optimized, as problems to be solved, as characters whose emotional pain exists to make the romance more satisfying. The true horror lies in recognizing that the game required you to be monstrous first.

Ubisoft is no more, long live Ubisoft! On January 21, 2026, Yves Guillemot announced the end of remote work, closure of several studios, cancellation of projects, and a new 200€ million “cost-cutting” plan. We were informed of this at the same time as the press — as none of these changes had been discussed during the mandatory consultations with the works councils a few days earlier! On January 26, 2026, management announced the implementation of a voluntary departure plan that will affect 200 people at Ubisoft’s headquarters. We are promised autonomy for « Creative Houses », but what about autonomy for employees? We have been negotiating for over a year on remote work policy, sometimes under difficult conditions. An agreement has been in place since September in some studios. Trampled underfoot! We are told about responsibilities, but those who wield this word so easily do not take any responsibility for the consequences of their catastrophic management. We are not fooled: rather than taking financial responsibility for layoffs, they prefer to push us out by making our working conditions unbearable. It’s outrageous. It is because we love Ubisoft that this situation revolts us. Ubisoft’s unions are calling for a massive international strike by all Ubisoft employees on the 10th, 11th and 12th of February 2026. NO to their anti-remote-work obsession to “cost-cutting” plans on employees’ backs to top-down decisions to coercive control on our working conditions YES to our leaders truly taking their responsibilities to management’s duty of sincerity in the face of its failings It is time for our management to understand that they cannot do whatever they want, whether with public money or the work of hundreds of people! Without us, Ubisoft would never have conquered and transformed video games as it has. WE ARE UBISOFT.

Finished building my first PC, it was stressful, it took some time but I finally have a config to do just about anything !
