Openai is blowing through cash spending on datacenter buildouts and hoarding gpus and other data center components for demand that will likely never materialize. This will be the bubble of the century.

Historian of French Revolution here to say the guillotine (named for the physician who invented it) was intentionally designed to be all these things. It was also envisioned as democratizing the death penalty and ending the long tortured spectacle of someone perishing on the gallows.
If Americans insist on keeping the death penalty, they should be willing to use the guillotine. It's quick, highly effective, reliable, and doesn't require expertise to operate. That using it makes some pro death penalty folks squeamish is telling.
