I've read this Rosebuds book ban story, and it's FANTASTIC! Hyun Sook and I are proud to cameo in the funny papers in such a cool way!
FUN FACT! It's a crossover! As Maria learns about book bans, she crosses over to the new story in the color edition of Banned Book Club to attend one of our talks!

Man, this was an epic encounter! Baba Yaga was not to be trifled with. I may have lost an eye and my dignity. thanks @monibarre.bsky.social for a great face off!
Baba Yaga is summoned by librarian and writer Moni Barrette. Jessi counters with the Draugr. Will the crone's gaggle of geese peck this Nordic revenant to death, or will the Draugr freeze them in their own personal hell? Listen on to find out!

My parents, right wing nut jobs who moved to bumfuq to become right wing nuttier, recently paid to have our entire family history scrubbed. No trace of our beautiful Mexican heritage, anywhere.
Well, almost anywhere. I fixed it, for the family.
Don’t mess with librarians.

You can’t support the current administration and truly value libraries.
This is the take
The most overlooked opportunity in comics is the ALA Annual artist alley.
They give FREE tables and admission to cartoonists in exchange for a piece of art for a charity auction.
If you make books that end up in libraries, that is the room you want to be in, and you can do it at no cost.

As a former Eisner judge and first time comics writer, I have big thoughts about this whole AI situation.
Mostly they are: Fuck AI, I’m gutted for the other contributors, and it’s beyond annoying that the establishment didn’t have language in place before this.
