The BBC does genuinely seem to be trying to save money where it can; they scrapped an undercover investigation where Amol Rajan went out clubbing with a view to exposing the easy access to poppers because they didn't want to pay for the Amol night rate

I think this will be one of the defining images of the Premier League's void years: a proudly working class fanbase celebrating that the ruling family of an oppressive regime had hired a barrister on £10,000-an-hour to try and prevent them suffering consequences for their cheating. Embarrassing.

@julienlaurens.bsky.social LAURENS IS BACK BABY. I’m sure they pay well but Sky is beneath you man. They were having a debate about whether or not Arteta was ‘the don’ last week. They weren’t even joking. Come back home to the Europod.

Small boat crossings peaked under Johnson in 2022 reaching 46,000 in 2022.

In current year they are 18,565 and falling.

Also prior to Boris Johnson's Brexit there were none.

In 2023, I wrote an investigative feature for the Mail on Sunday about the behaviour of multi-club ownership groups, focussing on Man City's owners. They didn't like it!

🧵 As front-page headlines go, this has to be one of the most misleading I've seen in a long time

It's an out-and-out lie

But notice the trick they use to get away with it...👀

*They're* not lying - they're just quoting someone else who is👍🏻

In this case, the leader of the opposition🙄
