Lost my dad a month ago. It happened so fast. For the first week or so after the diagnosis I just tried getting him “help” - appointments, new treatments, new docs or anything. He was gone in 3 weeks. My brain has been in a fog ever since.

Three weeks ago my dad spoke in public. Two weeks ago he could slowly walk up stairs with help and could speak with a soft voice. This weekend he can’t get out of bed and can barely speak when he’s not asleep.

I lived in NYC 20 years ago and have been visiting for work (pleasure) several times a year ever since and I don’t think I’ve taken the same way to JFK more than once ✈️

Got to LAX extra early this morning and TSA line was actually quick, pleasant (for LAX TSA standards) and no ICE in sight. Touchless TSA Pre is worth every penny.

The private credit funds I've looked at all have about 5-7% of their portfolios in a liquidity sleeve for general liquidity purposes (redemptions) and the average life of a 5-7 year loan is closer to 3 years due to prepayments & refis. But yes, I own too many Alts Mgr stocks so I'm still sad
