Two immature Cooper’s hawks this morning decided to pick a fight with the local murder of crows. They might have bit off more than they could chew.
Saw a Cooper’s hawk as I was riding into work. That was neat.

I think for me it would be a tie between three different animals. First, the Elk because I think they are cool. Second, the American crow for their amazing personalities and intelligence. Third, the Ruffed Grouse because I just think they’re neat and it’s our state bird.
Wolverines were once in Michigan, and they *could* live here normally again given some help to repopulate.
Otherwise, hm, I'd probably have to go back to a smaller mustelid. Otter, fisher, marten, stoat...
