I’m so serious when I say y’all have to stop treating amab nonbinary people like men.

& I mean the people who already respect afab nonbinary folks.

Do you know how many amab enbies tell me I’m the 1st person to see & respect them?

What are we doing? I’m happy to help, but the bar is on the ground

more business owners need to be like this

Coldstuff Ice-cream • Follow

I swear to God. STOP YELLING AT MY FUCKING EMPLOYEES. They are children. This job, for most of them is their first. They are going to make mistakes. They aren't in charge of anything. This can all be fixed with a smile and a polite attitude. It's ice cream for crying out loud. Grow up and act your age.

Hey!

Please do not feel obligated to help if you can’t. I know 1000s are struggling.

We’re seeking help with rent while both being federally disabled and unable to access housing assistance due to funding/program cuts.

Anything helps. Thanks for your time and support.

disingenuous and utterly misleading reporting by RPS here: Discord did not suffer any kind of breach

this is a completely-unaffiliated-with-Discord service

Gaming chat app Discord has suffered another user data breach, with a suspected 1 million email addresses stolen alongside (potentially many more) user IDs and IP addresses. While Discord was not targeted directly, third party security service Double Counter have reported a "deliberate, multi-stage attack" wherein hackers spent nearly six hours poking around their infrastructure before the vulnerability was closed.

Double Counter essentially acts as a bouncer bot for Discord servers, promising to detect and block unsanctioned alt accounts and prevent hostile 'raids' by large groups of malicious users. While its efficacy in that mission is debated by Discord users, and the service has previously been accused of selling user data for revenue, the fact is that Double Counter can collect and store personal info of the users that visit its 'protected' servers. Info that, now, has been partly or entirely nicked by Internet miscreants.

By Double Counter’s own estimates, around 1 million user email addresses have been affected, with databases of Discord IDs, usernames, IP addresses, and even location info for up to 28 million users also "partly" copied by the hackers. Security breach trackers Have I Been Pwned further report that 275,000 of the pinched emails and usernames have since been posted publicly.

Good morning you beautiful lot! In 2 weeks we've smashed the £10k, plus the £1k our comrade was going to fund himself, plus £500+ that we are using to support other antifascist comrades impacted by police violence! Donations will close soon, but you can still donate to Bristol Defendant Solidarity:

I know Lanterns is fresh in our memory, but it hasn't been the only one.

And that's just the latest example of something under the WB umbrella doing that! To date this past year I can also think of AEW and, what, I think Supergirl maybe? It has definitely happened multiple times now.

People don't believe me, but I'm TELLING you, there MUST be an active campaign strategy happening in media published by WB or other parts of JK's team trying to force HP awkwardly and unnaturally into public consciousness. Certainly from the WB side, I've seen multiple properties doing it already.

Scholastic sent me a whole box of paperback copies of Sorcerer’s Stone that I sure didn't order.

When I asked why, my rep told me they're sending complimentary giveaway copies to random schools that do Book Fair.
