Following the software bug that left cars crawling on the formation lap at the Bahrain / Malaysian GP, there's a fair bit of misinformation going round about how engine modes work. So let's dive in 🧵

A snake squeezes a parked bus in France, and a porcupine covers a whole cabin in Canada. Ten murals where the animals are as big as the buildings.
Animals Took Over (10 Photos)
## When animals become part of the architecture A snake squeezes a parked bus in France, and a porcupine swallows the walls of a cabin in Canada. In these ten murals, the animals are as big as the buildings they’re painted on. * * * ### Giant Cat — LexusOne in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia The whole gable becomes the cat’s face, framed by the building’s brick corners. A real tree runs straight up between its green eyes, and an old car parked below shows the scale. LexusOne signed the work down the right-hand edge. Art: LexusOne · Source * * * ### Snake Bus — SWEO and Nikita 5.7crew in Larnas, France A parked bus becomes both canvas and prey in this anamorphic snake at MAD MAZE, an activity park in Larnas in the Ardèche. Art: SWEO and Nikita 5.7crew · MAD MAZE · Source * * * ### A Giant Cat Gets Comfortable — Woskerski in Southend-on-Sea, UK An orange tabby sprawls across giant stone letters spelling out the city’s name, its legs hanging over the edges. The wall, at 18 Western Esplanade, was painted for Southend City Jam 2026 and is logged on Street Art Cities. **💡 Festival Fact:** Southend City Jam is a free three-day festival run by Southend-on-Sea City Council with local artists Steve Hart and Karl Sims, and brings more than 100 artists to the city center and seafront. Its roots go back to the town’s graffiti scene of the 1980s. Art: Woskerski · Artwork · Source * * * ### Collective Mind — Shozy in Neftekamsk, Russia Bees crawl up the side of a tall apartment block, where two painted flaps seem to peel the facade open to show golden honeycomb inside. Each bee is about as large as a window, set among the real balconies. **💡 Culture Fact:** The festival curators, Art-embassy Supernova, describe bees as an image of Bashkir culture and of collective labor. The wall on Lenin Street was painted for Iskra Urban Fest, organized by the Republic of Bashkortostan’s culture and public utilities ministries together with the city of Neftekamsk. Art: Shozy · Iskra Urban Fest 2020 · Source * * * ### Zero Sum — Jack Lack in Southend-on-Sea, UK Two enormous gulls turn a familiar seaside fight over chips into a full-wall scene. Jack Lack’s mural covers a gable at 1 Nelson Mews. Art: Jack Lack · Photo: The Reves One · Southend City Jam · Source * * * ### A Seal and Orcas Swim Across Two Buildings — JanIsDeMan in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands A seal looks out from the gable of one building while orcas glide along the larger wall behind it. Painted in the same turquoise, the two walls read as one stretch of water, with the green hills of Klaksvík rising above the rooftops. Art: JanIsDeMan · Local project · Source * * * ### A Child Faces a Giant Bird — Dan23 in Truchtersheim, France A small painted girl stands before a kingfisher that fills the wall, with a ladybug, bee, butterfly, frog and fish around them. The painted line “La Beauté naît de la Biodiversité dans le jardin de l’amitié” (beauty is born from biodiversity in the garden of friendship) echoes the name of Truchtersheim’s elementary school, Le Jardin de l’Amitié. The wall is signed and dated 2026. Art: Dan23 · Artwork · Source * * * ### A Giant Fish Swims Through Dover — Squirl-art in Dover, UK The fish covers the whole side of the building in sharp teal and black shapes. Its body is packed with pink, red and green hills, trees and a small house, and a few small dark fish swim along the bottom edge. Art: Squirl-art · Artwork · Source * * * ### A North American Porcupine Takes Over the Cabin — Nick Sweetman in Lac-Édouard, Canada The cabin’s wooden siding disappears into a porcupine whose glowing quills spread almost from wall to wall. Its orange eyes stare straight out, and small silhouettes of spruce trees and a water tower sit low on either side. **💡 Artist Fact:** Toronto-based Nick Sweetman holds a master’s degree in fine art from OCAD and is best known for murals of pollinators. Since 2017 he has organized butterfly mural projects in Toronto’s parks with the city and the David Suzuki Foundation. Art: Nick Sweetman · Source * * * ### Two Bramblings Cover the Tower — Sagie in Gothenburg, Sweden The birds perch across a residential tower at Siriusgatan 120 in Bergsjön, with windows and balconies breaking through the painted branches. The housing company Familjebostäder announced the work in August 2026; the Swedish name for the species, bergfink, nods to the neighborhood. Art: Sagie · Source

FP2 LONG RUNS

ANT was quickest overall, setting excellent lap times on both Mediums and Softs

LEC was next quickest (on Softs), but both he and HAM suffered from high degradation on that compound. McLaren was slower than LEC, but managed their tyres far better

VER's was QUICK on worn Mediums!

On this day.
"V8's are back" they never left. The thirst for nostalgia came as the pop began to age and global trade started to breakdown comfortable assumptions.
"Moffat's new Falcon" was running carbs instead of electronic fuel injection. It was slow and loud, when it failed there was applause.

Room to Grow (8 Photos)
## When plants become part of the picture Only one part of a portrait by Fábio Gomes Trindade keeps growing: the girl’s hair, which is a real tree. Elsewhere in this collection, the greenery is sometimes alive and sometimes just paint. * * * ### 🌿 True Nature — By Daniel Popper in Cancún, Mexico 🇲🇽 The figure holds its face between two enormous hands, revealing a garden inside its head. Leaves spill through the opening and gather around its shoulders, with the sea visible beyond. The detached face keeps its eyes closed. **💡 Nerd Fact:** The 2023 sculpture stands in Bohemian Square in Cancún. Made in partnership with Grupo Rosanegra from a steel subframe and glass-fiber reinforced concrete, it is a reinvention of an earlier piece of his. Popper’s description pairs it with one of his favorite quotes: “Your true self is not something you need to find; it is something you need to remember.” More: **Daniel Popper Builds Giants You Can Walk Through (32 Photos)** 🔗 Follow **Daniel Popper on Instagram** * * * ### 🌳 Green Crown — By Fábio Gomes Trindade in Trindade, Brazil 🇧🇷 The painted girl smiles from a pink wall, and her orange headband sits exactly where the paint meets the real branches. Her yellow shirt and the bright wall keep her face easy to find beneath all that green. More: **Murals by Fábio Gomes Trindade (8 Photos)** 🔗 Follow **Fábio Gomes Trindade on Instagram** * * * ### 🌺 The Healer — By Drapl and Luvsic in Roskilde, Denmark 🇩🇰 A face with closed eyes sits between blue flowers and a cluster of peach-colored hibiscus. Blue butterflies, big leaves and pink-and-blue zigzags spread across the dark wall. In their collaboration post, the artists named it “The Healer” and described it as an ovation to healers and the healing process. It was painted for Piece for Peace through RF Graff at Roskilde Festival. 🔗 Follow **Drapl on Instagram** and **Luvsic on Instagram** * * * ### 🍂 Colos Curva — By Jon Foreman in Little Milford Woods, Wales, UK 🇬🇧 Yellow, orange and green leaf fragments form a pointed oval around a dark center, edged in red. The trunk looks as if it has split open. In his own post for the work, Foreman explains that nothing was carved: the hollow is built up with clay, with dark earth for the shadowed parts, in Little Milford Woods in Pembrokeshire. More: **10 Forest Sculptures By Jon Foreman** 🔗 Follow **Jon Foreman on Instagram** * * * ### 🦌 Moss Deer — By Carly Schmitt This deer is made from moss, with thin legs and branching antlers traced across a white wall. Part of its body disappears behind a gray shutter. Up close, the moss is rough and uneven, and a few real weeds grow at its feet where the wall meets the cobblestones. **💡 Artist Fact:** Schmitt holds a B.A. from Macalester College and an M.F.A. from the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany, and received an Alexander von Humboldt German Chancellor Fellowship. As founder of Artist @ Large, she runs large-scale public art and community projects. 🔗 Visit **Carly Schmitt’s website** * * * ### 💙 Floral Gaze — By Drapl and Strange Harvest in Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 Here, every flower is paint. Blue blossoms gather in a woman’s hair, backed by a large flower-shaped pattern that spreads across the brickwork. The peeling surface shows through the paint, even on her cheek. 🔗 Follow **Drapl on Instagram** and **Strange Harvest on Instagram** * * * ### 🌱 Planting the Future — By Rogue One in Glasgow, Scotland, UK 🇬🇧 A child in a yellow jacket tends the ground beneath a tree that reaches up the building. Real windows sit within its painted trunk. The wall at 11 Kilbeg Terrace was painted for Glen Oaks Housing Association in Arden and unveiled in November 2025. More than 200 tenants helped shape the design, which reflects growth, change and resilience. A real garden stone supplies the top of his tall hat, and pink flowers grow just behind him. It is quite an entrance for someone so small. **💡 Sidewalk Fact:** Zinn has been creating artwork in and around Ann Arbor since 1987. His street drawings are always improvised on location, and they have turned up as far away as beaches in California, village squares in Sweden and street corners in Taiwan. When markets dominate the economy, then everyone's a salesperson. Old media followed the market for so long they burnt the trust, now a fascist is taking advantage.
In a one-shot game, anything goes. Your reputation doesn't follow you. Just win. ⁣

Repeated games look different. Future consequences change present strategy, and the best way forward is cooperation. ⁣

Okay so I've built a new Atlas, this time it lets you explore the conversations on Bluesky over the past 7 days graphically.

It should update every ~6 hours and help you navigate the information environment that exists on here.

I've learned a LOT about what people do here today...

2/ SUPER MACKLEMORE 64

You are Macklemore, and you're being chased by a giant Ed Sheeran who's trying to stomp on you.

All the while, a bunch of mini Robert Krafts are nipping at your heels.

You have to find all your comrades, perform a ritual, and take him down.
