Well another affiliate anniversary, another year I miss it. This time it's purely due to my own inability to overcome ptsd of my pc (as silly as that sounds). I do want to stream again, there are so many friends I've made from streaming that I feel I own time with.

Twitch will soon test an "Auto Raid" feature.
It appears to let you create a list of potential raid targets, and if you don't manually raid at the end of your stream, it will automatically select one to raid.
This feature is similar to the now-deprecated "Auto Host".

last time the US did this, we had 700k covid deaths because bolsonaro refused to get vaccines in time
and before that, we spent 24 years in a dictatorship; our latest democracy is only 38 years old and it's being threatened once again
we cannot let another bolsonaro be the president again

Please keep your eyes on Brazil, especially if you're from the US.
I do not like to post this kind of stuff but we are scared.

CEO Dan Clancy says Twitch now uses AI to identify streamers that may not match a brand, since it now transcribes all streams for brand safety.
It won't show ads on channels or content the AI believes don't match what the advertiser is trying to achieve.

I've seen so many folks playing Aniimo lately, likely who aren't aware of the GenAI use in the game. Just a PSA that Aniimo DOES indeed include GenAI in both the promotional material and in game.
Aniimo
Pawprint Studios. NO disclosure, claimed they didn't use any and you wouldn't find any in their game. Players found it and have been calling it out since 2025, "sketch art", promotional material and in-game. -y

Twitch is emailing select creators to offer a better split on Cameo fees.
Partners: 80% split.
Affiliates: 75% split.
To reiterate, this is a CAMEO split, not a Twitch sub split. A couple of streamers have reached out thinking this affected Twitch earnings. It does not.
