Here we go! Last night, I finished the last book in this year's stack.
Which means I get to start on next year's stack early! =^_^=

I have purchased so many books because I saw them recommended or publicized here on bsky. I cannot urge you all enough to KEEP TALKING ABOUT BOOKS.
I know it's easier to talk up someone else's book, but this also means you, the shy author.

So, today at #chezRat, the dough I prepared yesterday became an onion tart on a sourdough base. Could have used a few more onions, but overall I'm quite happy with it. =^_^=

Yesterday, I started this weekend's bake-a-thon by preparing this bad boy from sourdough. Seemed way too liquid at first, but several passes of pulling and folding turned it nicely elastic.
Now it's resting in the fridge and waiting for later. #chezRat

This very much echoes my sentiment.
When moving to my current place, the question arose what to do with a bunch of books whose author later turned out to be a Nexus Of Evil.
I couldn't bear putting them in my bookshelf, but didn't want to just throw them away due to the joy they'd given me.

You know, when you find out that the art you like is made by people you've learned hold views you find wholly repugnant, I don't think you need to disavow ever having enjoyed the art. It's okay to acknowledge you liked or loved that art, but are now putting it aside. That was then, this is now.
