The head of CDER is going on about how we're going to use AI and it'll all be great. In the mean time, they couldn't get Teams going right. Also, he started with a statement that they're going to keep everyone to their time limits because of the tight schedule. He's past his allotted time.

If for some unknown reason, I were elected president in 2028, the first thing I'd do (after screaming in terror, of course) is appoint a commission to document all the illegal acts of the current administration, who initiated them, who enforced them, and who lobbied for them. 1/who knows?

If I had one magic wish, I would wish for the world to be struck with a sudden bout of fairness: the crimes and foibles of people of the majority race would be treated the same as those of minority races. Men would be judged by the same criteria as women in job/grant/etc applications. 1/n

1. They didn't say what the status of the FDA overall is. CBER is still losing people in net and I know for certain that some of the "gains" in CDER are transfers from CBER.

That ferris wheel is worrying me. I keep having this fear that it's going to get stuck with people on it and there'll be deaths due to heat stroke. I hope I'm wrong. I'm probably wrong. But not as "probably wrong" as I'd like to be.

Just finished "Into the Drowning Deep" by Mira Grant aka @seananmcguire.bsky.social. Excellent book, definitely recommend for anyone who likes horror or dark fantasy. However, I'm afraid it failed for me as horror per se when I started envying the 2022 in the book vs the one in reality.

Just finished "Into the Drowning Deep" by Mira Grant aka @seananmcguire.bsky.social. Excellent book, definitely recommend for anyone who likes horror or dark fantasy. However, I'm afraid it failed for me as horror per se when I started envying the 2022 in the book vs the one in reality.

Did Makary actually resign? Apparently, the "resignation" announced on Truth Social was not posted by him but by the Trump account. There's been no internal statement at all and the only internal evidence that he's gone is that his picture was taken down.
