It's listed on the spec sheet as a TAG unit mounted in the mech's head, but it's really just giving the pilot a laser pointer they can shine out of the cockpit window.

1. If I may toot my own horn here, when the history of 21st Century science fiction literature is written, the my contribution to it will be as the one who made humor in science fiction marketable again. When I started out, I was literally told it was difficult/impossible to sell SF as humor...

Recent Scalzi Family Foundation donations include the Bradford Food Bank, Fire Department and Library, plus clearing out any school lunch debt at the local school (which was not much but even so). We're a registered 501(c)(3), so our donations are publicly available information, as it happens.

COOKIE REVIEW: Oreo BTS cookie with "brown sugar pancake" filling:
Not bad! Extremely sweet. The purple cookies don't particularly taste purple; I think they are probably the "Golden Oreo" formula with dye. Will probably plough through the package but will survive not getting any more after this.
