It was true up until September the 10th, maybe they missed the recent update when Ubisoft removed Uplay.

There aren’t a huge number of folk in my industry I truly admire.

DENZEL however is one I very much do.

Waiting for a call. Phone on desk. Checked it after an hour and I had missed the call. Googled "why doesn't my phone ring when I get a call" and discovered this is a common problem.

No more data centres!

Serious investigations need to happen by Uisce Éireann into water usage in data centres.

Nobody knows or even seems to want to know how much water is being used by these energy-guzzling data centres.

I hope someone, somewhere cracks down on this shit. It’s basically akin to breaking into someone’s shop and stealing all their wares to sell elsewhere. Another example of why GenAI sucks and should be taken down.
All uses of AI are costing someone… this sucks as the Game UI database is such a valuable resource.

Free newsletter: The economics of AI don't make sense. Monthly subscriptions to AI services are scams that represent a product that is impossible for OpenAI and Anthropic to provide long term, and AI data centers are an economic disaster at scale.

It could have been anything, but NuclearDomson seemed more interesting than something dumb like PotatoDomson or CocoPopsDomson. Not really much more thought involved than that, I just wanted to get through the account setup and go straight to playing the games.

It's just an artifact of Xbox 360 era usernames - Basically "This username is taken, try adding this random word to the front and see if that username's available."

It's meant to read like "NuclearDom's On", like I just popped online, but all in one word.

So if the early access (Prelude) ends up not being released on consoles, they will reopen founder access to new Console players presumably around when the console version officially launches.

It doesn't have any bearing on cross save one way or another.
November 15, 2025 at 9:32 AM
That's not what they are saying.

They're just saying they will make founders available to purchase at some point on console whenever a console version launches.

So people new to the game who couldn't play the PC version during preludes will still be able to buy the founder packs on console.
