Finally went to the bathroom at work. And it’s out of TP. didn’t notice until I was done peeing. Super awesome 😂

What an absolute chaotic cluster of a day in the ICU!!!! It’s 4:20pm, first time I’ve left either pt room. Both trying to die on me. But now???? Both “stable” on some norepi, one has avoided intubation so far and the other got extubated!!! Damn, I love being an ICU nurse ❤️

Being an icu nurse can be so so hard sometimes. But today? While I was taking care of my very sick patients my very best friend from the age of 12 died in my ICU. just 3 rooms away from my pt. I am not ok. Can’t stop crying and need to finish the shift

Worst ICU roadtrip? MRI with unstable pt, intubated, sedated, on pressors. What’s even worse? My bowels screaming once I got the pt here to MRI

Perfect dinner before my overnight ICU shift. I got my ass absolutely kicked from the second I showed up and finally eating a quick snack and back to it. Today’s lesson? Don’t do meth. Really. Just don’t do it
