Fanart of Bungie's Marathon (1994), but re-visualised in Blender to match the visual tone and aesthetics of the new game (2026). Text on the side has the Marathon symbol, with the words; 'somewhere in the heavens... they are waiting.", alongside transmissions from Durandal, binary code, and an emergency alert sent out to all aboard the ship. Top image depicts BoBs aboard the Marathon colony ship coming under assault by a S'pht Compiler. A Traxus contractor is injured and cannot get away in time, while a UESC Security Officer implores a CyberAcme employee to be quiet, not wanting to lose a potential advantage - that is, if the officer can take it out. On a screen near the the Compiler is a ship-wide alert broadcast, informing all personnel that the ship has been boarded by alien forces, and to fight for their lives. The second image below it is a close-up render of Recon 54, the playable protagonist of Marathon. Water rains on their helmet and equipment from above, while the symbol of the ship and their designation can be found on the top of the helmet and visor respectively.
