A lot of the reason Charlie Kirk's death became a meme was backlash to the state's insistence that everyone had to be completely somber and respectful about it but it's also that these people and their allies (like Kirk!) made violence ambient noise like this

I think it's closer to the truth that LLMs *can* save time on *some tasks* which can be valuable *if* you monitor them and check their output. But that doesn't get you a trillion dollars so they have to squint into the middle distance and say stupid sci fi bullshit instead
