September Reads.
Morning Star by Pierce Brown — what a ride. Epic, emotional, brutal, and SO hard to put down. ❤️🔥
LAND by Maggie O’Farrell — such a wonderful read. Atmospheric, beautifully written, and the kind of book that stays with you after you’ve finished it.

Winter blanket project with a giant skein of yarn. ChokeDee is intrigued. He is going to claim this blanket. He is eyeing my progress.

My august read is here.
"The Covenant of Water" left me staring at the wall for hours after I finished it. Beautifully written. Big book but worth every chapter. One of the best books I have read.
Also honorary mention goes to "Mad Mabel".

Oh how I adore London. As a literary nerd, I had to get a ticket to see a play at the actual Shakespeare globe theater this afternoon. Plus a full solar eclipse is happening here in Europe this evening.

Monthly Book wrap is here for July.
"Whistler" by Ann Patchett is delightful and so is "The Bright Years". "Yesteryear" was such a big hype and I thought it was alright. I have so many great books on deck for August read. Can't wait to go through them all.

Swimming in the bay at sunset from last night. Please watch till the end! Needless to say, emergency night bath was required.

These are books I read in June.
My pick is "The calamity Club". Fascinating read!. All other books from the list are as wonderful. Tough pick for June.
Also, I never read review/synopsis before I start a book.
