the idea that rufo has, at any point in his public career, been a sincere advocate for “colorblind meritocracy” is brain dead

Everyone involved in this process — including the Palantir employees — have to be investigated and probably go to jail.
NEW: DHS agents tracked people observing ICE arrests, photographed them, ran their plates, pulled personal information, and added them to a Palantir database, according to newly unsealed court filings.

ICE Has Been Dumping Protester Photos Into a Palantir Database
DHS agents not only tracked and intimidated people observing ICE activity in Maine, but stored information about them in a Palantir-built database, newly unsealed court filings say.

Corduroy is a perfect analogy for Eagles fans, because all they’ve ever wanted was to live in a dark, cool cave (ie Eagles Jail in Veterans Stadium).
So the Eagles are missing Devonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, AND Zack Baun this week???

I think Smith could successfully sue Schmitt for defamation now, since he's restating the falsehood outside of the Senate hearing, and by this point he clearly knows what he's saying is false
Eric Schmitt is on The Charlie Kirk Show (yes it's still called that) -- and believe it or not, hosts are pretending he owned Smith with his embarrassingly botched gotcha

"You caught him in this NBA game too in Atlanta"

"Yeah," Schmitt says

There's no mention that Schmitt had all his facts wrong

Wait why is Ryder Ripps a part of this?

Very funny this happened right after Axios was like "lots of buzz about Schmitt for VP" this morning.
🤡 Schmitt beclowns himself 🤡

Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atl for a Hawks game and to collude with Fani Willis, & flashed his "evidence" before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- his facts were totally wrong.

Here's the whole sequence:

When you're in your forties you can only achieve this sort of gain by drinking three beers in one day.
Chet Holmgren has gained weight from last year’s training camp to this year's training camp. He went from 213 lbs to 215 lbs. 💪

I love my Bluesky people but it’s funny when people who have in-depth conversations about minor characters in DISCWORLD on main react with incredulity to the existence of massive country stars. I guarantee more people know who Tucker Wetmore is than Seldom Bucket.

I’m sorry but “Brunette” is a banger, I’m not here for Tucker Wetmore slander.
Ella Langley & Tucker Wetmore are dating, PEOPLE reports.

The State AGs were on pace to kill the Paramount/Warner Bros by litigation and delay until Gavin Newsom stepped in and turned the tide. Now the Trump loyalist Ellisons will control CNN and HBO. Don't ever, ever forget that Newsom stabbed us in the back

this is an instructive situation - if you hadn’t clocked taylor lorenz as a grifter and a hack long ago, you need to hone your moron radar
Taylor Lorenz pulling a "Why I'm Leaving the Left" is perhaps the most predictable thing ever to have occurred, narrowly edging out "housecat slowly pushes cup off edge of table"

They should both do this, it will be funny. Rapaport starting his own pizza review vlog where he gives every pizzeria in the city a slightly higher grade than Portnoy did. Portnoy campaigning in a Celtics jersey. Both men taking a pledge on the debate stage to reopen the Staten Island dump. Let’s go
So far, the folks hinting at running against Mamdani -- who currently has 69% favorable rating among NYC voters -- in the 2029 election are the barstool sports guy and Michael Rapaport.
