Recently visited South Korea and walked the Battle of Whitehorse Mountain monument. A reminder of the immense sacrifice of the South Korean people for their own defense during the Korean War.
It’s an Alliance forged in blood and fire.

The Bondi firing will get all the attention but what Hegseth is doing with the upper echelons of the military is much more dangerous over time than Bondi’s tenure as AG.

And it won’t get 1% of the coverage.

Someday it will get a lot of coverage, and those will be dark days.

Detail I learned today about the Caracas raid: more than 20 of the Delta Force operators earned their Combat Infantryman Badges on the raid (as in, they did not previously have them). An illustration of how GWOT combat experience has aged out of the force, even JSOC units.

Found my Grandfather’s Army-Issued field watch from WWII. He wore it across Europe to Germany, then in the Philippines.
